KidZania Dubai is a 7,000-square-metre indoor scaled replica of a real city where children can learn about different careers through hands-on role-play. The attraction has more than 40 real-world activities covering areas such as healthcare, emergency services, banking, media, transportation, food and beverages, retail, entertainment, education, and government services. Children take on different jobs and responsibilities while developing skills that include teamwork, decision-making, creativity, communication, and social interaction.
The activities are designed around realistic city services and workplaces. Children can work as doctors, dentists, police officers, firefighters, pilots, cabin crew, radio presenters, television reporters, chefs, production engineers, hotel staff, and other professionals. Creative options include the DOMS Art Studio, MakerZ Studio, Melodica Music and Dance Academy, Acting Academy, and Metropolitan Theatre, while the Kaspersky Cybersecurity Centre introduces online safety and responsible digital behaviour.
KidZania also uses its own currency, KidZos, to introduce children to earning, spending, saving, and money management. Children earn KidZos through selected jobs and can use them for activities and items within the city. Trained Zupervisors introduce and support activities, while adults can use designated areas such as the parent's lounge when they are not permitted inside an activity. The attraction is designed primarily for children, with most role-playing activities suited to ages 4–16.
